A Portfolio provide evidence of work that you’ve done in the past which illustrate your skills and abilities to complete the job you are applying for. Well beyond a brochure, flyer or a business card, there is a Portfolio. The reason why a Portfolio is important is it give the business owner an opportunity to showcase the past jobs they’ve worked for. A Portfolio can be a range of different things, such that showcases the diversification of your asset or interest in your business. When you have investors in your business, the Portfolio shows a range of a person’s or an institution’s entire collection of investments or financial assets, including stocks, bonds, real estate, mutual funds. So, there is a variety of ways to use a Portfolio.
Not only does a Portfolio show your asset, it shows customer’s a list of past work history showing your work in the form of pictures, or old project images, or documents. If you are a Real Estate professional, this will list all your past property you have list and sold. As an architecture, this will also list pictures of or project type, and cost of the project they’ve worked on. This also works with a web designer projects as well, or a creator in any shape or form will be listed in the same way. You can showcase your past projects for a Portfolio. It can include other project-related to activities and responsibilities within the company that you are responsible for.
